According to the report from the World Health Organization in 2005, children worldwide under 5 years of age are more than twice as likely to die of malaria than measles (853 deaths/1000 from malaria - 8% with 395 deaths/1000 from measles - 4%). Yet we don't vaccinate against malaria.
